Elden Andrew Early, 75, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 28 Bonnie Sloan. Elden retired from the Boeing Company. He was a guitarist that played in a band for many years and he was also an artist.
He was born on February 23, 1939 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Edward E. and Julia M. (Peter) Early. Elden is survived by his wife, Brenda K. (Turner) Early; children, Mary Beth, Michael, Robert; siblings, Erma, Arthur, Thomas, and Alice; and 4 grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Elden's wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 28 (1930 McDonald Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
