Elaine Whatley

Elaine Clark "Lainey" Whatley, age 58 of Louisville, fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was a 1975 graduate of Seneca High School. She was a seamstress for many businesses in Louisville, including Bridal Warehouse. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evangeline Clark; and her father-in-law, Victor Whatley.

Lainey is survived by her loving husband, Peter; her daughter, Elyse Allemang (Jason); granddaughter, Eva Allemang; father, Alvin Lee Clark (Carol); sister, Sandra Anagnostou (George); brother, Gregory Clark (Harriet); her mother-in-law, Jean Whatley; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 10am Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at St. Michael Orthodox Church, 3701 St. Michael Church Drive, Louisville, KY 40220 with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, October 5th from 4-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with Trisagion Prayers at 7pm.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael Orthodox Church or Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
