Elaine Brooks, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 4, 1951 to the late Louis and Mildred Rich. She was a retired clerk from the Jefferson County drivers license bureau.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Charles Rich.
Elaine is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, George "Skip" Brooks; a son, Jason Brooks; a daughter, Tracie (Kris) Beasley; a granddaughter, Kaylee Jo Brooks; siblings, Sherry Rich, Linda (Herb) Smith, Sandy (Guy) Osborne, Dennis Rich and Jackie Crooks; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy are suggested to the family.
