Eileen Louise (Atkins) Hadley

Eileen Louise (Atkins) Hadley, 71, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She retired from Frito Lay and was a member of Northside Christian Church.

She was born on December 29, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Mary (Herling) Atkins. Eileen is survived by her husband of 31 years, V. Ric Hadley; daughter, Robin Spurling; stepchildren, Todd Hadley (Denise), Corey Hadley (Melissa), and Alleson Sisson (Travis); grandsons, Matthew, Drew, and Trey; step-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Evan, Jacob, Ian, Regan, Lauren, Jillian, Caroline, and Kellen; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Knust (Bob); and brother, Tony Atkins (Paula).

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Eileen's wish. She will be laid to rest privately at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
