Egbert B Joseph "Joe"

June 14, 1938 — August 21, 2020

On August 21, 2020, Egbert "Joe" Joseph, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 82 from a sudden illness.

Joe was born in Trinidad Tobago to his parents, Ramdath and Sumintra Joseph. On May 10, 1959, he married Leila, his beloved wife. They raised a son Vernon and a daughter Joann.

Joe was an entrepreneur and had many interests over the years. Joe moved to the United States in the 1970s and is best known for his fast food chain which he owned and operated for over 30-years. He had a passion for cooking and made everyone he prepared food for feel special, well fed, and entertained by his quick wit. Joe also had a love for nature especially for birds and the ocean. Over the years Joe acquired many types of birds which he raised and cared for and after retiring made many trips ocean side with his family.

Joe is survived by his wife Leila, his two children Vernon Joseph (Shirley), Joann Ray (Chris). His grandchildren, Kristen Priddy (Michael), Lauren Willard (Scott), Travis Ray (Jessica) and Colin Ray. His great grandchildren, Ryder, Phoenix, Maverick, Sutton, Raiden, and, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe was dearly loved by his family, relatives and friends and will be truly missed. Until we meet again.
A special thank you to family and friends for their loving care, support and prayers during this difficult time.
