Effie "Connie" (Adams) Jackson

Effie "Connie" (Adams) Jackson, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 25, 1946, Connie was the daughter of Webb and Isabell (Briley) Adams.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jackson, and her grandson, Michael Flaherty.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Bailey and Diana Hardshaw (Ray). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Nick Flaherty, Christopher Flaherty (Katherine), Brian Bailey (fiancé, Marissa Caudill), and Kyle Bailey (Summer)—each of whom she treasured deeply. Connie’s joy grew with the addition of her great-grandchildren: Calya, Waylan, Leela, Presley, and Beckett. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy and brother John.

Connie’s life was vibrant and active. She thoroughly enjoyed being on the go, always eager for a new adventure. A particular favorite pastime was visiting the casino, where she happily tested her luck playing all kinds of games. In her younger years, Connie loved attending dances, with the company of friends. Above all, she felt her greatest joy and pride in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

Connie's wish was to be cremated. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
