Edwin Reginald Ward, Jr., 79, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. He retired from both the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer and Internal Revenue Service as a Disclosure Officer. Edwin was an avid reader, history buff and enjoyed researching genealogy.
He was born on February 20, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Edwin, Sr. and Laura Mae Ward. Edwin is survived by his wife, Rita (Kruer) Ward; children, Michael (Shannon), Kathy, Joseph, Peter (Pamela); step-daughter, Michelle Engle (Dennis); sister, Barbara Morsberger (David); seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Edwin's wishes. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association (240 Whittington Parkway, Louisville, KY 40222).
