Edwin Morgan Oliver, Jr.

Edwin Morgan Oliver, Jr., 88 of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Ed had recently moved to New Albany from Bourbon, Missouri, where he had lived for 23 years. Prior to living in Bourbon, Ed had lived in Longmont, Colorado where he was part of the ownership team that owned Home Lumber.

Ed was born on July 28, 1932 in Paonia, Colorado to the late Edwin Sr, and Margaret Henkle Oliver. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Kerrie Renninson, sister, Margie Hartway.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Patsy Oliver; son, Charles Oliver (Lisa ) of Florence, Texas; son, Robert (Sue) of Littleton, Colorado; and daughter, Linda Buttke (Mike) of New Albany, Indiana. Ed is also survived by his brother, Larry Oliver (Ginny) of Springfield, Missouri and brother in law, Jim Hartway of Littleton, Colorado. Also brother-in-law, Orin Carrington (JoAnn) of Arizona City, Arizona and sister-in-law, Jeanne Jones of Randle Washington. Ed is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, a bunch of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen following Ed's wishes and no services are scheduled at this time.
