Edwin Lee "Roy" Chesser, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

He was born on April 25, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky. Edwin will be remembered as a Godly, strong, faithful, protective, and fun loving man.

Edwin's tradition is carried on by his loving wife of 73 years, Virginia E. "Ginny" Chesser; sons, Jerry (Julye) Chesser and Edward Lee Chesser; daughter, Janice Marie Humpich; grandchildren, Daniel (Melanie)Chesser and Jennifer (William) Glass; great grandchildren, Hannah Chesser and Heather Gore.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). His Funeral Service will be at 1:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Edwin 's memory be made to Portland Christian School.
