Edwin Phillip Boyd Iii

Edwin Phillip Boyd III, 58, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in Louisville, Kentucky. Eddie was an avid gardener in his younger days. He loved sports and was a faithful Louisville Cardinals fan. Eddie's true passion was the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Eddie is survived by his daughter, Brooke Schlise (Jason); mother, Nancy Brinksneader; mother, Lorene Boyd; siblings, Sherry Yount (James), William Boyd (Tricia), Shirley Weatherston (Rex), and Roger Warman (Jackie); granddaughters, Kayla and Carleigh; and 1 great grandson, Luke. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Warman and Hilbert Brinksneader; father, Edwin Phillip Boyd, Jr.; and his step father, Wilbur Brinksneader.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date.
