Edward Claus Powers, Jr., 50, of Elizabeth, Indiana, went to finally be at peace on Friday, February 7, 2020. He loved his family and also his animals.
He was born on July 3, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Olivia (Ritz) Powers and the late Edward Powers, Sr. Along with his mother, Ed is survived by his wife, Tammy (Wilkerson) Powers; and son, Edward Powers III.
A reception of family and friends will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2020, beginning at 2:00 p.m. and closing with a prayer at 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Contributions in Ed's memory be made to LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana (2820 Grant Line Road, Suite 10, New Albany, IN 47150).
