Edward Eugene Ludwick

Edward Eugene Ludwick, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Edward was a loving husband, dad, papaw, brother, uncle, and friend. He always loved fishing but most importantly he loved his family with all his heart. Edward has fought a strong battle and now has no pain and at peace.

He was born on August 3, 1951 in Bardstown, Kentucky to Isaac and Lillie (Jones) Ludwick. He is preceded in death by his Father, Isaac Ludwick, Mother, Lillie Ludwick, Siblings, Thomas Ludwick, James Ludwick, Tony Ludwick, Carl Ludwick, and Callie Thompson.

Edward is survived by his loving Wife of 55 years, Carolyn Marlene Ludwick; Children, Edward "Eddie" Ludwick, Jr. and Lora (Mark) Ludwick; Grandchildren, Zachary Ludwick, Marissa Ludwick, and Ta'Kera Ludwick; Great-Grandchildren, Kali Ludwick, Claire Ludwick, and Alexandria Ludwick; Brother, Dennis (Darlene) Jones, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
