Edward H. Murray, Sr.

Edward H. "Bud" Murray, Sr., age 82 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. He retired from General Electric where he served as a Union Representative until 1991. He was past president of the Kentucky Moose Association and a member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge. Bud was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville, KY., and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of VFW #1181. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marie Murray; his daughter, Tina Louise Hilbert; his daughter-in-law, Donna Wyatt Murray; and his parents, George William Murray, Sr. and Marianna Jewell Murray.

Bud is survived by his loving children, Cheri Ballard (Steve), Ed Murray, Jr. (Lisa), Dan Murray, Terry Lynn Walden, Robert Alan Murray, Sr. (Andrea), Annette Frey and Angela Eagle (Michael); siblings, George "Bob" Murray, Jr. and Patricia Murray O'nan; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11am Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12th from 3-8pm.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (acs.org.) or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
