Edward Joseph Graf, 74, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022.

He was born on May 25, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herman and Ruth (Thompson) Graf. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Woody Graf.

Edward proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines in 1990 then went to work for TARC; retiring in 2008. Edward will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his family.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Margo Graf, daughters, Jennifer L. (Anthony) Hewitt and Debra M. (Chris ) Kelly, grandchildren, Lyndsey P. Hewitt, Evan J. Hewitt, Makenna E. Vance, Cameron S. Vance, Clay (Siera) Kelly and Brook Kelly, great grandchild Levi J. Kelly, his siblings, William M. (Hazel ) Graf, Linda J. (Joseph) Downs, David W. (Belica) Graf and Sheri G. Graf, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of Edward, the family will be wearing plaid and invites others to do so if they wish.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating his life will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home. The family will be planning a private burial service at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Ky.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Edward 's memory be made to GlioblastomaFoundation.org (PO Box 62066 Durham, NC 27715) or the American Cancer Society.
