Edward LeRoy "Ed" Fox, 65, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019.
Ed was born on June 14, 1953 in Glenville, West Virginia.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio, before transferring to the Kentucky Truck Plant in 1997. He retired from Ford after 33 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Tom Fox; his brothers, Bob and Donnie and his sister, Beverly.
Ed is survived by his wife, Debbie Fox; two daughters, Stephanie Fox and Julie Fox (Chris Dongarra); step-children, Andrea Solomon, David Solomon and Chuck Solomon; siblings, Jim Fox (Carol), Patty Roberts (David), Ronald Fox (Monica), John Fox (Donna) and Dee Dee Fox; grandchildren, Christain Fox, Nevaeh Taylor, Gabrielle Ensman and Gianna Gonzalas; step-grandchildren, Samantha Leighty-Holbroke (Mason), Theodore Leighty, Dustin Enzore, Dakota May, Brayden Speckheart and Jeffrey Sturgen; great-grandchildren, Cameron Fox and Julien Ensman; step-great grandchildren, Hadley Holbroke, Haylyn Holbroke, Harbor Holbroke and Elijah Sturgen; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 1 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY (in Middletown), followed by a celebration of Ed's life at 3 pm.
