Edward Lee Ford, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021.

He was born on October 15, 1957 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to James and Pauline (Nation) Ford. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Ford, sister Janice Ford and life partner Linda Holland.

Lee lived in Buechel and was an avid collector of vintage items such as bicycles, Coca Cola items, older model cars and the founder of Gaslight Family Car Club. He was a very friendly person with a big heart, never met a stranger and he loved telling stories.

Lee is survived by his father, James E. Ford, sister, Tina M. Johnson (Terry), brother William Albert Ford (Barbara), three paternal aunts, tons of cousins, a host of nieces, nephews and a great-great niece.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

Visitation will also be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Lee's memory be made to the family in the name of James E. Ford.
