Edna Earlbrossart Riley

Edna Earl Brossart Riley, 96, passed away on June 16, 2016. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a loving wife of 53 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. Edna enjoyed quality family time, traveling and spending time outdoors. She made everyone feel welcome in her home and by the time you left you felt like you were part of her family. Edna had a love for everyone that touched her life and every life she touched was blessed by her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Carl Edward Riley, daughter, Becky Smallwood, parents, Clarence and Catherine Brossart; 2 sisters, 1 brother and son-in-laws, Michael Seibert, William DeAngelo and James Goodman, Jr.

Edna is survived by her children, William Edward (Rita) Riley, Carol Jean Seibert, Judy Marie DeAngelo, Connie Jo (Steve) Render, Bonnie Kaye Goodman and Tim Smallwood, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 12pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and Monday, June 20, 2016, from 10am-12:30pm, with a celebration of Edna's life at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5431 Johnsontown Road, Louisville, KY) beginning at 1pm.

Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery.
