Edna Loretta Deel

Edna "Loretta" Deel, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Loretta was a devout Christian and loved her family. She loved to keep a clean home by doing laundry, folding towels, and saving her plastic bags. Most importantly, Gigi loved spending time with the apple of her eye, Addie, doing the twist to Old Time Rock & Roll. Loretta will truly be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 18, 1941 in Sharer, Kentucky to Crit and Pearnie Deel. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings; Ann Sermon, Bill Deel, Ronnie Deel, and great-granddaughter; Presley Waldridge.

Loretta is survived by her loving family, daughter, Michal (Timmy) Gossett, sisters, Zoe Deel and Wanda Huff; grandson, Nicholas (Brittany) Gossett; granddaughter, Samantha (Nathan) Waldridge; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Waldridge; and one great-grandchild on the way.

The family request's that memorial contributions in Loretta's name be made to The Kentucky Council of the Blind.
