Edna Virginia Cornelius,58, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 3, 1958.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Brooks Jr.; sister, Charlene Brooks Fey and her parents, Albert Brooks Sr. and Virigina Darlene Brooks.
Edna is survived by her beloved partner of 20 years, Timothy E. Minton; brother, Walter Brooks; sister-in-law, Barbara Wolff; and a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
A celebration of Edna's life will be held at 1pm Monday July 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest. Visitation will be on Sunday July 16, 2017 from 2 pm - 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. Burial will be on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Cove Hollow Cemetery in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky.
