Edna Borden, 82, of Milltown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Edna enjoyed working in her yard and reading. She loved spending time in the outdoors and camping. Above all else, Edna dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was born on November 18, 1938, in Coxton, Kentucky, to the late Clarence and Rosie (Woolum) Hamblin. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dennis Borden; son-in-law, Sammy Elliott; daughter-in-law, Tina Borden; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

Edna is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William "Bill" Borden; children, Rickey Borden, Linda Elliott, Ronnie Borden, Larry (Susan) Borden, and Jeff (Allison) Borden; brother, Luther (Loretta) Hamblin; sister, Faye Pellman; brother, Charlie Hamblin; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
