Edna Applewhite Noel

February 6, 1925 — November 3, 2015

Edna Applewhite Noel was born February 6, 1925, in San Antonio, Texas. Edna was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness on December 12, 1950. Edna had a big heart and she loved Jehovah very much. Her sense of humor was wonderful. Edna loved to fish, dance and wear those high heel shoes. Mom spoke her mind, but a trurer friend would be hard to find. The love she had for Jehovah and his promises were always in the fore front of her heart. The hope of the resurrection is burning in our hearts. We know that in Jehovah's love we will see you again.

Edna was preceded in death by her mother, Addia M. Walker; father, Joe Applewhite; brothers, William Sylvester Holloway and Leroy Thompson and sister, Leora Saterwhite.

She leaves behind her siblings, Willie Brown and Geraldine Rand; children, Mary Ann William, Gloria Lee and Sandra Futrell; grandchildren, Richard Noel, Damon Lee, Timothy Lee, Delisa Wright-Mitchell, Angelique Noel and Nicholas Noel; great-grandchildren, Marcus Edward Noel, Tylor Jorden Lee, Angelina Lisa Lee, Oliva Morgan Lee and Aaliyah Paris Lee, Ariana Jordon Myers, Nora Ashley Wright, Jonathan Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell; great-great grandchild, Grayson Orin Myers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service for Edna will be Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 2pm at Hunting Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, 5301 Garden Green Way, Louisville, KY.

The family would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt words of comfort and support during this very difficult time.
