Edith Lyle Cain, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 17, 2018.
Edith was born on January 26, 1930 in Jessamine County, Kentucky to the late Charles Rice and Delia Rice Carter. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jessie Rice; and son-in-law, Tommy Chappell.
Edith is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jack Cain; son, Vince Cain (Susan) of Louisville, KY; daughters, Glenda Price (Virgil) of Elizabethtown, KY, Diane Chappell of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Taylor Price (Kate), Grant Chappell (Alexis), Morgan Hardesty (Brian), J.C. Cain (Chelsey), Wes Cain; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held for the family at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
In loving memory of Edith, memorial donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
