Edgar Thomas Smith, III, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. He was born December 5, 1927 in Chester, PA., to the late Edgar and Gladys Adams Smith. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from SKF Bearing Company in Cherry Hill, NJ. and Glasgow, KY. He was an avid book reader and golfer.
Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife the former Jan King; Randy Smith Barrett (Robert) and Ericha Cecil (Jim); grandchildren, Nicole, Kelly, Kirk and Kelsey; great-grandchild, Liam.
Memorial service will be Noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation from 10am until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Care Society.
