Eddie Lewis "Sonny" Hoback Jr., 62, of Crestwood Ky., suddenly and peacefully left us on September 7, 2024. Sonny was born in Louisville, KY., on June 7th, 1962, to Eddie and Brenda Hoback.
He worked hard as a Senior Process Technician at Faurecia Interior Systems for 10 years. He had very recently gone back to work for Walmart. Sonny loved Music, Motorcycles, Sports, and Gaming. He was a lifelong Bengals, Reds, and U.K. fan, and enjoyed all sports. One look at his most recent obsession shows his dedication to the Bengals. His Jeep, The Jungle. He truly loved personalizing, driving, and showing it off. He enjoyed the Jeep Club and Meets that he attended the last 2 years very much. Sonny was a big Music, Science, History and Sports buff. He was a devoted Son, Nephew, Brother, and Uncle. He will be tremendously missed.
Preceding him in death, his Grandparents, Lewis B. Hoback, Virgie Mae Williams Hoback Bishop, James "Jimmy" Bishop, Edward A. Hellman Sr., and Mary Katherine Goodloe Hellman. His Parents, Father, Eddie L. Hoback Sr., Mother, Brenda J. Hellman Hoback Dietrich,and Stepfather, John S. Dietrich. Aunts, Delores Hoback Michaels, and Wanda Hoback Corum. Uncles, Robert "Sonny" Corum, and Donald W. Hoback.
Sonny is survived by his Sister, Vikki Hoback, Uncles, Kenneth (Wendy) Hoback, Jerry Hoback, Edward A. "Junie" Hellman Jr., Darvin Bishop, and Roger Bishop. Aunts, Linda Greenwell, Donna (Jeff) Bessenger, and Debbie (Donnie) Higdon. Niece, Brooke Byfield, Stepbrother John T. Dietrich, and Many Awesome cousins.
Sonny has been cremated. A Memorial Service may be determined at, and for a later date.
