Eddie Gene Shuck, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
He was born on November 26, 1953 in La Grange, Kentucky to the late Oldham and Callie (Edday) Shuck.
Eddie farmed all his life in Henry County, Kentucky. He raised cattle, tobacco, quail and trained bird dogs. He loved hunting deer, wild turkeys and quail.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Shanna (Philpot) Shuck; sons, Aaron Shuck, Adam Shuck (Brooklynn) and sister-in-law, Sheila (Philpot) Lowe (Nathan).
He will be cremated under the care of Newcomer Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Restoration Life Church in Eminence, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Eddie’s memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville and/or the building fund for Restoration Life Church.
