Eddie Rice

Eddie "Butch" Rice, of Louisville, Kentucky started on his journey to transition from Earth to Heaven on February 10,2022, Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Eddie was the Life of the party, he loved to dance, sing and joke around. Eddie found joy in making others smile, His soul lit up every room he entered, his charm, his wit and the way he carried him self made others want to be around.
Eddie was born on July 3, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky to Ommie and Junior Rice, He is proceeded in death by his father Junior Rice, mother, Ommie Rice, Sisters, Patti Hunter, Gwendolyn Bond and grandchildren Janiya and Jada Robinson.

Eddie is survived by his family, wife Elaine Ellis, children, Kesha Ellis, Tyrel Ellis, Demeatress Ellis, Eddie Robinson, and Rodrick Miller, Sister Cassandra Beeler, Brothers Anthony Rice and Sevelle Rice. As well as a Host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends to cherish and remember him now and forever. The Family Request that all contributions in Eddie's memory be made to his children Kesha, Eddie, Tiger, Tyrel and Demeatress.

We want to thank each of you for all your prayers and Kind words during this time, Eddie is now dancing in the sky with the people he loves dearly, and just knowing that warms our hearts and fills our souls with joy, Eddie will be missed and loved forever, our love goes pass the flesh and beyond this Earth. This is not the end, this is a start of a new beginning, one that we all live just to experience, Eddie was chosen his work on earth was done, we are forever thankful for the times we shared.
