Eddie Lynn Hurst

Eddie Lynn Hurst, 53, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was born on December 22, 1967, in Salem, Indiana. Eddie was an electrician at Star Electric for many years and was once a welder at Jeff Boat. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and loved spending time with his precious granddaughter. Eddie will be dearly missed and remembered for his selfless acts of kindness.

Eddie is survived by his loving daughter, Anastasia Hurst; father, David (Trudy) Hurst; mother, Mona Brown; sister, Shannon Hurst; brother, Brian Hurst; and granddaughter, Serenity Hurst.

Cremation was chosen following Eddie's wishes. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Daisy Hill United Methodist Church (22803 Daisy Hill Rd., Borden, Indiana), and a Celebration of Life will follow at Thirsty's Bar & Grill in Borden.
