June 10, 1943 — March 8, 2022

Ed Gardner, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Ed proudly served in the United States Army where he retired. He then worked for Naval Ordinance and retired through them. Ed was a Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the VFW. He will be known for his social life and always wanting to be around friends and family. Ed will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on June 10, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Arthur and Marie (Jett) Gardner. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Sister, Patty Gardner.

Ed is survived by his loving Wife of 48 years, Ann Gardner, Son, Eddie (Alma) Gardner, Daughters, Ronda Gardner, LaDonna Gardner, Deana (Adam) Kendall, and Andrea (Scott) Floyd, Siblings, Hazel Henderson, "Sonny" Gardner III, Sister, Vicki Bruschi, and Trish Tremblay. Ed also leaves behind to cherish his memory 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
