Earnie Lee Wix, 53, of Louisville, passed away peacefully at home after a two-year battle with cancer on June 5, 2017. Earnie was born in Louisville on November 30, 1963 to Robert Wix and Bea Wilkerson.
His father preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Bea Wilkerson; and seven siblings, Kenneth Lynn Skaggs, Karen Lynette Deakins, Anthony Gene Skaggs, Timothy Dean Skaggs, Michael Wayne Wix, Melissa Carol Howell, and Stacy Dawn Rone.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial following at St. Andrew Cemetery.
