Earl Samuel Sanders

Earl Samuel Sanders, 84, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2017. Earl was born in Louisville on April 3, 1932 to the late Fred and Callie Sanders. He retired from John Waters Heating and Cooling. Earl spent his retirement caring for his tomato garden and spending time with his growing family.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Aline Sanders and one daughter, Janet Sanders. He leaves four children, Brenda Ford (Paul), Sharon Moore (Kenny), Tony Sanders (Theresa), and Kenny Sanders (Jackie); one sister, Gloria Self; two brothers, Melvin Sanders and Donnie Sanders (Joyce); 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery.
