E. Charlene Keith, 90, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. She had a passion for her church Gospel Kingdom Church and was a long time member there. At age 82, she became a published writer (Gleanings from the Fields of Boaz). The reason for this book is primarily for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; to leave wonderful truths that she has found and the many wonderful experiences the Lord has blessed her with for over fifty eight years of service and devotion to Him.
But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)
She was born on January 1, 1932 in Bonnieville, Kentucky to Andrew and Gertrude (Gaddie) Risen. She is preceded in death by her Father, Andrew Jackson Risen, Mother, Gertrude "Gertie Lee" Risen, Husband, Elmer T. Keith, Children, Arlene Merideth, Timmy Keith, Siblings, Arnold Risen, Damon Risen, Hobert Risen, Odell Risen, Mavis Thornton, and Wilma Givens.
Charlene is survived by her loving family, Children, Dennis (Debbie) DeVore, Sr., Darrell (Debby) DeVore, Anthony (Lora) DeVore, Denise (Mike) Powell, Deborah (Susan) Arnold, Richard (Pat) Keith, Nancy (Charles) Buffin, Benita (Ed) Sharp, Mike (Linda) Keith, and Vanessa (Robert Cook) Keith, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Gospel of the Kingdom Campground Memorial Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Charlene's memory be made to Her Church Gospel Kingdom Church in Elizabethtown.
