Dwight Douglas Scott, 63, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on March 9, 2016. He was born on January 2, 1953, in Henderson, Kentucky, to John and Beatrice (Slaughter) Scott. Dwight worked as a computer programmer at Humana for many years. Dwight was a hard worker and enjoyed yard work and traveling.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice (Slaughter) Scott. He is survived by his loving sister, Rebecca (Gene) Vanmeter; 13 nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephew.
Dwight's wishes were to be cremated and entrusted this with Newcomer Funeral Home.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home with service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
A memorial donation can be made to Dare to Care (5803 Fern Valley Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40228).
