Dustin Lighter, 25, of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

He was the assistant manager for Valvoline Oil Change in Louisville and Shepherdsville. He was the owner and operator of Dustin's Lawn Equipment and Repair. Dustin loved to hunt and was a handyman to anyone who needed his help. Overall he was a great father, son, brother, fiancé and friend to many.

Dustin was born on December 2, 1990 in Martinsville, Indiana to Rachel and Barbara (Toon) Lighter. He was also preceded in death by his granddaddy, Ralph Lighter and memaw, Delores Toon.

Dustin is survived by his fiancé of five years, Alissa Gillahan, children, Dalton and Colton Lighter, parents, Rachel and Barbara Lighter, sisters, Angelica Shaw, Tasha Heath, and Alexis Timm. He is also survived by his grandmommy, Elizabeth Lighter, papaw Ronnie Toon, and grandparents, Eddie and Barbara Bowles. Dustin is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Dustin's visitation will be from 3:00pm until 7:00pm in the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 with memorial service to follow until 7:00pm in the Chapel at Southeast Christian Church 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
