Drew Wesley Long, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022.
He was born on June 10, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Warren and Phyllis (Peace) Long.
Drew is survived by his brother Eric Long (Susan), nephews Ryan Long (Tonya), Jonathon Long,
Drew was a graduate of the House of James Beauty College and was a professional hairdresser for over 40 years. He spent the last 12 years of his career at Brooks and Co Salon in Louisville and retired in 2021. He loved concerts, movies, and Broadway musicals. For many years Drew hosted his annual New Year's Eve parties, each with a theme, that were legendary. He was fun, witty, and greeted everyone with a warm smile. Drew will be missed by his family, wonderful neighbors, many lifelong friends, and most of all, his much-loved pet Saxon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at August Moon Chinese Bistro (2269 Lexington Road, Louisville, KY 40206).
