Drema Martin, 70, of, Louisville, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Drema retired from Quality Aluminum and was a member of the Derby City Fillies. She enjoyed bowling, and will be remembered for her good cooking.
She was born on November 10, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Julius and Mildred Salesman Whitlock . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Whitlock, Lee Roy Whitlock, Gene Salesman, Peggy Garrett and her grandson, Cody Ray.
Drema is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Howard Martin, children, Kimberly Russell, Brian (Sherry) Russell, Perry Martin, Shari (Marty) Stansbury, and Jeff (Marsha) Martin, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and her siblings, Runt Whitlock, Patsy (Alvey) Hopewell, Deborah Ramos, Dorothy (Steve) Meschede, and Adrian (Marie) Whitlock.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm on Wednesday, August 26th at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. A service celebrating Drema's life will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 27th at the funeral home, then she will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
