Born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 8, 1927, Stuart lived a life defined by faith, service, and devotion to family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Betty Harlowe; his sister, Catherine; and his parents, Stuart and Elizabeth Harlowe.

Stuart pursued his education at the University of Kentucky and went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He dedicated his life to the practice of medicine, serving others with compassion, skill, and integrity.

A proud patriot, Stuart loved his country and served honorably in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career into his everyday life, where he quietly embodied duty, humility, and care for others.

His Roman Catholic faith was central to his life. A devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, he lived his beliefs through prayer, generosity, and steadfast devotion to God.

Above all, Stuart cherished his family. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a trusted presence in the lives of those who knew him. He will be remembered as a man who loved God, Family, and Country - a physician, a patriot, and a faithful servant whose legacy lives on in those he loved.
