Dr. Marc Alan Lauber, a beloved chiropractor and cherished member of the Lyndon community, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on October 31, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio, Marc made a significant impact on the lives of those around him through his career and personal passions.

Marc attended the University of Louisville before receiving his chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1990. He dedicated his professional life to his practice, Lauber Chiropractic, where he was known not only for his expertise but also for his caring nature and humor. He had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met and was known for never meeting a stranger.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Marc was a man of many interests and hobbies. He had a deep love for music, especially the Allman Brothers Band, and cherished memories of attending concerts with his son, Joshua. One highlight for Joshua was visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together on his 12th birthday, while another memorable occasion was attending an Allman Brothers concert when Joshua was just 8 years old. Additionally, Marc had a passion for history, particularly the stories of World War II and Native Americans, reflecting his curiosity about the past.

Marc was also an avid animal lover, enjoying the companionship of his horses and dogs. He expressed his creativity and talent as a carpenter, building not just projects, but memories filled with love and care. A proud fan of the Louisville Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers, he shared his enthusiasm for sports with his family and friends, fostering a sense of camaraderie and joy.

Marc is survived by his son, Joshua Alan Lauber; his sisters, Francine Byars and Diana Janes (Brian); his nephew, Ryan McCoy (Kortney); and his niece, Lauren Janes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Richard M. Lauber and Huguette Lauber.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, remembered as a kind, funny, and compassionate individual who touched many lives through his work, interests, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
