Douglas Wade Stephens, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on December 8, 2017.

He was born on April 30, 1942, in Springville, Tennessee to Eulis and Evie (Hendrix) Stephens.

Douglas is survived by his Wife of 54 years, Mary Evelyn (Hensley) Stephens, Son, Richard (Terri) Stephens, Daughter, Cynthia (Johnny) Bowling, Daughter, Janice (Bob) Carr, Brother, Franklin (Gladys) Stephens, 10 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, John William Stephens, Sister, Mary Jean Chandler, Brother, Clarence Stephens, Sister, Betty Jane Crain.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany with burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany, Indiana.
