Douglas Alan Kallbreier, Jr.

January 11, 1981 — April 23, 2020

Douglas Alan Kallbreier, Jr., 39, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020, at Clark Memorial Hospital with his wife and mother by his side. He was a loving husband, son, stepfather, grandfather, brother, nephew, and uncle. Doug enjoyed walks in the woods, creeks, and beaches and being at the lake. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

He was born on January 11, 1981, in New Albany, Indiana, to Douglas, Sr., and Deanna (Dillow) Kallbreier. Along with his parents, Doug is survived by his wife, Sandra-Lee; grandmother, Elsie Kallbreier; step-grandfather, Don Murray (Mary); stepdaughters, Nicole Bailey (Sirron) and Amber Valencia (Matt); sister, Devra Rodriguez (Raul); brother, Dustin Kallbreier (Shannon); four nieces; three step-grandchildren; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Doug was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Kallbreier, Sr., and Jerry Dillow; and grandmother, Linda Murray.

Services will be held privately at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A celebration of Doug's life will be announced at a later date. The family requests that expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
