Douglas John Brown, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was born in Tucson, Arizona on March 11, 1958 to Major John Neil Brown, USAF, Retired and the late Julia Ellen Balmer-Brown.
Douglas is survived by his beloved Wife of 38 years, Ruth Marie Graves-Brown; his father Major John Neil Brown, USAF, Retired; four children Sara Marie Brown, Aaron Michael Brown, April Nicole Gall and Andrew Everett Gall; Grandson, Collin Michael Reinle, Granddaughter, Cameron Ann Reinle, Granddaughter, Lillian Ellen Fagan, Grandson, Shua Gene Fagan, Grandson, Blake Douglas Brown, Grandson, James Ray Gephart, Jr., Brother, Gregory Neil (Dara) Brown, Brother, Ronald Everett Brown, Brother, Michael Jay (Brenda) Brown; and a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that in loving memory of Douglas, contributions may be made to The Healing Place, 1020 West Market Street, Louisville, Kentucky, 40202.
There will be Memorial Service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017 with a visitation from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
