Dottie Lou Newsom, age 73 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband William Varden Newsom and a son Glenn. She is survived by her children, Michael Newsom (Loretta), Debbie Lupex (David) and Janet Geary (Dennis); 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Newsom's life will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 31 from the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Monday. Memorial contributions may take form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
