Dorothy Mae Sumrell, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021.

She was born on September 11, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary R. Offutt; step-father, Joseph E. Offutt.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Andreana R. Mills (Rick), daughter, Stephanie A. Sumrell, son, Eric J Sumrell, sister, Donna J. Gibson (Terry), brother, Joseph Offutt (Amy), sister, Mary Offutt, grandchildren, Michelle (Richard), Stuart, Bobbie Ann, Cynthia (David), Brittany, Brooklyn, and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Dorothy's memory be made to Hosparus.
