Dorothy M. Robinson, 92, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2017.
She attended the Carlisle Ave Baptist Church for 84 years and worked in the church nursery for 40 years.
She was born on September 16, 1924 to the late Charles and Myrtle (Johnston) Blye. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters Charlene Tallant and Delma Baker.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years Ruel T. Robinson, son Richard (Becky) Robinson, daughter Lynda Simpson, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Per Dorothy's wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church (3548 Taylor Blvd Louisville, KY 40215) and/or Park Slope Baptist Church (251 12th Street Brooklyn, NY 11215).
