Dorothy Brown "Peggie" Pharris, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 22, 2019.
Peggie was born on October 26, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Dora Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Avery Clayton Pharris.
Peggie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Okolona Christian Church.
She is survived by her four sons, William "Bill" Pharris (Wanda), Robert "Bob" Pharris (Shannon), Michael Pharris (Linda) and Danny "Dan" Pharris (Devona); 15 grandchildren and
19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a service to honor the life of Peggie to follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
In loving memory of Peggie, memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus of Louisville.
