Dorothy Rita (Assetto) Moyer, 90, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. She loved watching TV game shows, attending Bingo night, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born on June 27, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and Mary (Forchetti) Assetto. Along with her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Moyer.
She is survived by her son, Clyde Kenneth (Deborah) Moyer; grandchildren, Nicholas (Amy) Moyer, Joseph (Karla) Moyer, Lori (Wes) Orr, and Kenneth (Morgan) Moyer; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen according to Dorothy's wishes. A celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Dorothy's memory be made to Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies (982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217).
