Dorothy Lewis

Dorothy Lewis, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and spending as much time she could with her family.

She was born on September 9, 1924 in Springfield, Kentucky to Roy and Elsie (Cheatham) Warner. She is preceded in death by her Father, Roy Lee Warner, Mother, Elsie Warner, Husband, Leon Lewis, Daughter, Lois Jean Bigelow, and Son, Billy Joe Lewis.

Dorothy is survived by her loving family, Daughters, Patty (Terry) Sanders, Betty Sander, Faye Lauzon, and Sons, Michael (Jim) Lewis, Allen Lewis, and Jim Lewis: Grandchildren, Tammy Jean (Chris) Rood, Christopher Fritsch, and Joey (Amanda) Lauzon: Great-Grandchild, Alexis Rhyan Lauzon: Siblings, Roy (Frances) Warner, Lela (Everett) Powell. As well as an extended family of her children's friends who always called her "MO" and will always cherish her memory.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
