Dorothy Jo"Dottie" Livers

Dorothy Jo Livers, 72 passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2015 at her home. She was a member of the VFW Post 3281 and American Legion Post 28. Dottie attended St. Mary of the Knobs and was also active at Northside Christian Church.

Dottie was born on August 21, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles and Hazel (Elliott) Sorg. She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Charles Livers; children, John Martin Livers (Veronica Gale), Ronald Scott Livers (Laura), Charles "Bugsy" Livers (Sharron), Robin Livers Strutz; siblings, Robert Sorg (Margie), Connie Thine Moon; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 PM to 8 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and after 11 AM on Saturday. Her Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
