Dorothy J. Parsley, 84, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 23, 2014. She retired from Horton Fruit Company.
Dorothy was born on January 2, 1930, in Newcomb, TN to the late Luther & Minnie Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garnie Parsley; daughter, Donna Sue Whitmer; and grand-son, Gregory McCubbins.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda J. McCubbins; grandchildren, Tim, Brenda(Scott), and Billy; great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 8pm Monday, October 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Tuesday from 10am until time of service. (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Funeral Service to honor the life of Dorothy will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery.
