Dorothy Helen Grainger, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Jewish Hospital. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 5, 1945 to the late Leslie and Jessie Grainger. She was a member of West Broadway Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her a sister, Sheila Grainger and a brother, Roy Grainger.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved son, Edward (Geraldine) Grainger; two grandchildren, Jessica Hughes and Whitley Hughes; two great-grandchildren, Josiah Harris and Jordan Renee Hoard; a brother, Leslie Grainger, Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
The family wishes to celebrate her life privately with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery.
