Dorothy Gertrude Skoluda

April 22, 1940 — February 25, 2015

Dorothy Gertrude Skoluda, 74, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was an extremely talented/gifted artist. Dorothy also enjoyed writing, gardening, as well as horseback riding.

She was born on April 22, 1940 in Manhattan, New York to the late Dr. Colonel Eric R. and Dorothy (Murphy) Skoluda. She was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Richard Skoluda.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Charles B. D'Angelo, Robert G. D'Angelo, Doretha A. Flynn (Eugene); siblings, Ann Elizabeth Hoagland (Larry), Paul R. Skoluda; granddaughter, Justine M. Flynn and great-granddaughter, Avynlea E. Flynn.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 1 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Martinsburg Cemetery.
